The MG Cup rolls into Snetterton for its season’s finale with classes and championship to be decided, the climax of the MG Car Clubs most action-packed championship with its great mix of MG & Rover cars for two rounds of close competitive racing.
With 2 races left who will be crowned Champion and who will win its 4 classes….. with drop scores playing a part, calculators will be at the ready in the paddock after the final race of the season…
Big grids, close classes and a great paddock atmosphere there is no better championship to race in #fillthegrid
In class A (road going) Dale Reet leads the fight for class honours followed by John Gill and then Carl Robinson.
In class B (Modified) Chris Boulton leads Ian Boulton and then Iain Dowler whos engine failure at Oulton means he is hungry for a win so we expect to see some hard thought racing to separate the front runners this weekend.
In class C (Race) Richard Buckley leads championship and the class followed by Peter Burchill and then Mike Williams.
In class I we see Stuart Tranter leading and this weekend he will face Matt Simpson in his new Rover 216 Gti challenge car and Julia Penfold in her MGZR170
