Great to see the progression of 2 drivers both Marcus and Morgan campaigned 216 Gti in class A. We wish them great success in there racing career and the door is always open to do the odd round.

MG ZR 160 spec race car £4000

This MGZR is built MG Trophy class C regulations and MG Cup class A regulations.

The car was built from a really good shell from a 2004 registered car, however, it is fitted with a wiring loom from a 2001 model as they are less problematic. The car is still road legal if you bolt a set of road legal tyres to it and the MOT only expired last year, I haven’t had time to take it for a new one.

This car raced in the MG cup at Silverstone 2021 and finished second in class in both races, it also raced at Donington Park, taking class wins in both races. In 2022 the car was raced at Snetterton and finished 3^rd in class in both races in the hands of a novice in his very first and second race. 

Spec of build as below: –

6 point Safety Devices Roll Cage,

The chassis is fully poly bushed with Powerflex purple bushes

It has brand new springs fitted for last season to MG cup and Trophy regulations

Braided brake lines throughout

Mintex race pads with very little use

The TRS harnesses were new for 2021

The fire extinguisher was serviced towards the end of 2022 season

It has a new cobra evolution GT race seat (wide fit)

It is will be sold with 16” wheels with used Dunlop Direzza tyres

This is a great race car for a beginner and still a great track day toy.
I am happy to sell the car for £3600 without the large GT cobra evolution seat.
